This dragon is a Dungeon Dragon, a snake-like dragon with very small, useless wings. The guy has seven runes carved on its body and as you see, its keen of luring adventurers to its lair :D

Looks awesome! I can't wait to use this in game as a reference picture. My players are going to freak out!

With dragons, unless they're going to be in human form at some point, I think most people just go with it. I'm not sure if it's a subconscious thing, or if it just doesn't matter to them. Actually, I think this goes with everything that's not humanoid. Interesting food for thought there.
