A map for Monte Cook Games  "The Strange" Core Rulebook

Ruk is a Recursion, and recursions are like dimensions/planets that exist withing our own reality. Ruk is a disk-shaped world, so the edges on the map are literally edges. The side-view city Harmonious is also a floating disk, and undert it lies another part of the city forever in its shadow,

This is a beautiful render of a very creative idea. I love the concept of the shadow city. My only point of confusion is the nature of the surface. The profile-angle render indicates a metropolis crowded with tall buildings. The overhead angle looks relatively undeveloped.

Even with that apparent disconnect, this is a great piece of eye candy. Kudos!

Mmmm, never saw that as a confusing issue... The City is at the center of the Disk, not the big map itself the large map is the "world" and the city side view is a location at the center of the world.

Ah, I see now. The shadow city is built on the disc world, while the upper city floats above it.

It might be helpful for dummies like me if you put some sort of dividing bubble around the side view. The rather abrupt edge of the bottom made it seem like it was an edge, rather than something that continues past where you draw it.

Now that you mentioned it would have been helpful... The thing is that since the developing team and myself knew exactly what we were "describing" -that harmonious is a city and Ruk the world- that we never thought it could be a slightly confusing problem for people who gave it a quick glance... Well, I hope it doesn't become a major issue.

Yeah, it would be tricky to make such a fundamental change to the structure of the piece this late in the game. Context is a great thing; I'm sure it'll be fine.
