Will do. I actually encouraged myself to put it up, so if you check this [link] you can take a look at it.

And as mentioned in the description, tips are welcome. Perhaps you have some nice tutorials or ways to make a better looking map that you'd share?
- hope you're having a good and sunny day.

Well nice is an UNDERSTATEMENT its one of the better things i have seen for D&D type things, how did you get the "Grass texture"??? and the line drawings wondering if they are done on a WACOM or just scanned in pencil drawings and cleaned up/ tones sepia brown make them a bit more organic.

The grass is a simple texture over a "dirt background and then erased to make the trails/worn up paths. The lines are pencil and digitally touched up, and yup, I use a wacom and photoshop :)

Glad you like!

Why is your stuff so awesome? It's inconceivable! Thank you so much for showing it off. Tell me - what is the thought process when drawing a map? How much information did the client give you?

I think this might be the best settlement map I have seen for a long time, the smoothness of it makes it so easy to look at and the colours used are wonderful. Very nice work!

I really enjoy this style of mapping for small towns and villages. I'd be very interested in learning more about how it's accomplished.

software is but 50% of the work, if you have nice hand-made skills, you can make maps as shiny as any software, thou you need to find a style that fits hand-made artwork.

Suggestions? Right now I only have GIMP 2 and Paint.net, and I've only really done a lot of work with GIMP.
