Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

So..its about my newest OC,Kasumi,.of course,youre going to draw her~

Things to clarify:
 
A mage's abilities are:supernatural strength,able to cast magic spells,able to survive for a long period of time.
Her staff/rod appears when shes battling with someone.


CONTEST RULES:
You have to draw Kasumi.
You can draw her with her likes and dislikes,her casting spells or just her alone.
Do not draw her with your OC or my other OC's,they dont know each other.
Do not draw her as an animal and pony.
Backgrounds are preferred but not needed.(although putting one will really raise your chances at winning!)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Busy 2010

2010 starts with a very busy agenda. From now to March 1st abd May 30th I need to clear several projects which in totall are over 80 illos, some are very simple, some are VERY elaborated. These projects will keep me super busy for quite some time:

- thefroglab.com launch
- Iphone App illos (lots, lots and LOTS)
- Strategist and Tacticians Artsy directing, with Ryan Costello and 4 Winds Fantasy
- Open design: Sunken Empires (Paizo's From Sea to Shore adventure enhancement)
- Wayfinder 2 (almost done!)
- Wayfinder 3 (for PaizoCon)
- Special Secret Monstruos Book Project :RAWR:
- Plus the long queue of delayed commissions...

Also this year I'll add cartography to the portfolio :D This will be real soon I hope, one map is already finished. Along with a color/no outline portfolio to finally try and reach for the big fantasy publishers and see if I can make the look this way.

Thank you all for the support you gave nme last year for without it I would not have even half of these project jamming my inbox. I hope I can keep you interested in my stuff and tio continue counting with you all ;)

Luckly (and stressfully) I am quite busy. As time goes by, rather than decrease the number of lined up commissions, it keeps increasing... Its quites stressful but I'm quite grateful as well. I hope I can catch up soon or at least don't fall behind even worse :D
